1. "What is ShowNing DJ Lab?"
- ShowNing DJ Lab is a expert DJ training center in Singapore offering courses for beginner to advanced DJs, focusing on hands-on learning and real-world DJ skills.
2. "Where is ShowNing DJ Lab located?"

- We are just a 3-4 mins walk from Exit A, located behind the ICA Building in the HDC commercial area on Level 2.
3. "Who is the main instructor?"
- The main instructor is DJ toMW, originally from Tokyo, Japan and graduated from City University of New York, where he was named to the Dean's List three times, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree.
- In recent years, he became one of the world's Top 20 finalists in the 2024 DMC Open Format category.
DJ toMW is an accomplished DJ with extensive experience in both DJing and music production.
Before Getting Started?
1. "Can I (we) learn DJing even if I (we) have no previous music experience?"
- Absolutely! More than 90% of our learners started out DJing FRESH!
2. "My kid is 7 years old. Is it too young to get started?"
- Since our establishment in 2012, we have introduced the joy of DJing to individuals from 35 different nationalities, ranging from 4 years old children to 69 years olds.
*Children aged 7 and below must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (it will be a group lesson).
- As all our lessons are conducted PRIVATELY, we tailor our approach to meet each learner's unique needs.

3. "Do you offer trial lessons?"
- Yes, we offer fully private trial lessons.
For individuals, the fee is S$50, and for groups of 2 or more, it's S$35 per person.
Each session last 45 minutes.
- Over 98% of our learners begin their DJ journey with a trial lesson just for your info.
3. "What can I (we) learn during a trial lesson?"
- Our DJ trial lesson is designed for beginners in DJing.
During this session, participants will get hands-on experience with smoothDJ mixing, guided by DJ toMW.
Additionally, DJ toMW will showcase the full potential of a professional DJ routine setup, allowing you to witness intricate equipment operations and the artistry of DJ music from a DJ's perspective - something that cannot be fully appreciated from an audience's point of view.
4. "I (we) have some DJing experience but am (are) self-taught. Can I (we) still join trial lesson?"
- Of course! Since all our lessons are fully private and by appointment, we can assess your current understanding of DJing during the trial session.
However, please be aware that from our professional perspective, self-taught DJs who believe they know the basicas often have a pre-basic level.
This means that even absoulte beginners can grasp the official DJ fundamentals in just one trial lesson through us.
General Courses & Lessons
1. "What courses do you offer?"
- We offer Standard Live DJ Courses at Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Master levels, as well as a Tailored DJ Mastery Course for those looking to refine their higher skills and achieve an international professional standard.
Each session is 45 minutes long with the full PRIVATE atmosphere.
2. "How many sessions to complete until the Master course?
- To complete all our programs up to the Master School DJ course and receive an official certificate from ShowNing DJ Lab, you will need to complete 40 sessions, each lasting 45 minutes.
i.e. General Course Breakdown:

Middle School DJ Course to Master School DJ Course – 12 sessions per course
3. "40 Sessions? OMG! Isn't it TOO MUCH?"
- We totally understand where you are coming from!
However, we shall put it in perspective:
・ Each session is 45 mins.
・ All together: 40 sessions x 45 mins = 1,800 mins.
・ In hours: 1,800 ÷ 60 mins (1 hour) = 30 hours.
∴ That's only 1 and 1/4 days if measured back to back!
We strongly believe that, when integrated into your available schedule, it's a reasonable investment in your lifetime to acquire Global-Level DJ Skills and Knowledge with a latest trend functions of the DJ gear as well as a deep understanding of DJ history in any genre.
At ShowNIng DJ Lab, you'll find plenty of physical things that AI cannot provide or guide you toward.
