DJ toMW, originally from Tokyo, Japan, is the founder and principal instructor of ShowNing DJ Lab. Now based in Singapore, he brings more than 30 years of professional DJ experience and 13 years of teaching expertise to every lesson. Global credentials – 2024 DMC World Championships (Open Format Category Online), Top 20 Finalist, with guest sets in Japan, U.S.A, Singapore, Vietnam, and China. Cutting-edge skills – Equally comfortable on classic Technics turntables and next-gen gear like the Pioneer Opus Quad and DDJ-FLX10, integrating Creative use of Sync, Stems, and live-remix and mashup techniques. Even absolute beginners can steadily build performance-ready DJ skills through our 1-on-1, practice-focused curriculum—typically with just 30 hours of total lesson time (45 minutes per session, once a week), which adds up to just 1 and 1/4 days of actual hands-on training. At ShowNing DJ Lab, you’ll master creative skills and crucial music theory as a whole, just in only months that normally take at least 3-4 years elsewhere to learn.

Our curriculum is based on weekly lessons, with practice time in between to absorb what you've learned. This approach is build on over 13 years of teaching experience and a proven roadmap for effective progress. For those who wish to accelerate their learning, taking 2 lessons per week or even 2 sessions in a day is also possible.
